Forge Workshops
If you are reading this is because at some point you were interested in the world of traditional forging.
What I intend with these workshops is to bring you closer to the world of forging, to let you see it from the inside and soak in it. We are going to get dirty, sweat, get dirty again and, at the end of the day, you will know firsthand how a traditional coal forge works.
Keep in mind that this is no reality-show, this is not “Forged by Fire” nor are we going to make our own super knife in two days without really having any idea what we are doing or why.
Together with me you will learn the basics of the craft and together we will see the most common working techniques, which can be applied to the creation of a knife, yes, but also to the creation of any other piece you can imagine.
In my forge I don't have electricity. Here we work the old-fashioned way, as it has always been done and you can see for yourself the results both on the web and on my social networks. We had said that it would be a traditional forging course, right? Well, here we go!

Honestly, I don't expect you to leave here as a blacksmith after a couple of days, that will take a little more time, but I will be glad that I have been able to show you my world, that you have lived it from the inside and that, with the experience still fresh in your memory, you can decide for yourself if someday you want to be one of us. If so, I will be delighted to have had something to do with it.

FORGE WORKSHOPS
BLACKSMITH FOR A DAY
- One person, one day, a lot of fire
- From 9:00 am to 18:00 pm w/ an hour break for lunch
- Price 120 €.
Wear my boots for one day with this workshop in which I'll show you what to be a blacksmith means. By my side you'll learn how a traditional coal forge works from the inside. The types of coal, how to arrange the fire in the hearth of the smithy, tools, techniques, differences between iron an steels, and a lot of curiosities from the old days of the smiths. I'll show you what to do, how and why but will be you who holds the hammer. Are you ready to get dirty?
INTRODUCTION TO TRADITIONAL BLACKSMITHING
- Up to 2 person, 2 days, more fire
- Day I from 9:00 am to 18:00 pm w/an hour break for lunch
- Day II from 10:00 am to 15:00 pm
- Price per person 195 €.
With this two-day workshop I want to give you the chance to get involved in the world of blacksmithing and give you the knowledge to be able to create nice pieces from the start.

After that you'll get the skills to be able to create by yourself that knife you always wanted but also every piece you be capable of imagine. That's how I started, and that was long time ago.
+Workshops are done usually on weekends but feel free to write and ask for availability on week days.
+Protection glasses, gloves and apron are included in the workshop price. I recommend to come with workin' clothes and a proper shoes. A hand towel is also welcome (please, not white!)
+Lunch will be had at the smithy. I have a wee gas kitchen, take your own food and kitchenware or tell me with time and we'll see what we can do!
+Payment will be done in the moment of reservation. In case of not assistance money will be refund without any trouble.
